Upon graduation from the University of Georgia with a degree in Chemistry, George spent four years as a Captain in the US Army. Afterwards, he then spent 33 years as a Regional Manager with Shaw Industries, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, and one of the world’s largest flooring manufacturers. After retiring from Shaw Industries in 2009, George has since enjoyed four years with Carefree Carpets, using his vast industry experience to help our customers find the perfect flooring products to make their house a "home."

Gloria is a native Charlottean who lives in Matthews with her husband, two children, and their retired racing greyhound, Ella. After graduating from East Carolina University, Gloria worked in the healthcare industry in Human Resources before joining the Carefree team in 2016. She transitioned into sales in 2019 and enjoys helping customers improve the look of their homes with new flooring. Gloria enjoys watching movies, trying new restaurants, and practicing martial arts in her spare time.

Haley graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She spent 11 years as a Buyer for Macy’s and Belk Department stores in Atlanta, New York, and Charlotte — focusing on Home Furnishings and Women’s Apparel. While in New York, she reconnected with a UGA grad, whom she married after moving to Charlotte. Haley loves meeting new people and sharing her enthusiasm for home interiors. She is excited to help others find the perfect floor covering to fit their needs!
